Last Concert
Despite
everything conspiring against us for our Christmas concert on 19th December,
such as the deep (two feet), and crisp and even snow, which meant our
accompanist and ten of our members were unable to travel, a large number of our
supporters turned out to enjoy a feast of fun, frivolity and festive music.
Everyone joined in our customised version of the Twelve Days of
Christmas, which featured some of the local shops.
The "five rolls from Spar" occasioned much merriment and the
"six pies from
Colin’s" went down very well at the fuddle afterwards! |
